About

What's the difference between the church of today and the church that Jesus' disciples started? Movement. That early church was built on the ability to go. While we often sit in ivory towers and wait for the lost and broken to migrate to our events, the first church was built on movement. Jesus' command to them was to go. Anyone who has done anything for God, big or small, had to first be willing to go. The ability to go is so important that it is two thirds of who God is. He wasn't willing to sit back and watch us drown in the snare of our own sin, but He was willing to go even to the cross to redeem us. And in return, isn't that what we should be? Shouldn't we go to whatever measure to share our Jesus with this dying world? The intent was never for us to occupy pews, sing songs, or build buildings but to move to the places where he is needed most; for it is in Him that we live and move.

So that's our mission; to go. Not just pray; not just pay, but go. Go to the broken, the hurting and the forgotten. To go with this good news to make a change in a generation. We will go with our time and our talents and our treasure. Our lifestyles and our imperfections. History is changed by the momentum of men who dared to move. This is our moment.
This is our movement.
