twentytwenty

If you had told me in January 2009 that we would be standing here just one year later, I would have called you crazy.  God has done more in the last twelve months than I could have dreamed or imagined.  Maybe, you haven’t seen it because you are a new family member of the Movement or maybe because so much of it has had to do with what has been happening in my heart.  My perspective, my hopes, even my image of what ministry and the church should be have so dramatically changed that I feel like a different person, a different leader.  It has been hard to communicate it.

And, that’s what brings us here.  I have used the term “church redefined” repetitively, but I never told you what that new definition was.  I essentially gave you the weapons of hope and determination, but didn’t give you a target at which to aim.  Tonight, we embark on a year long journey to define that target, but it will take all of us traveling in a unified direction.  Join me as we learn to experience the Power of One.
